Will PT be deducted even though “worked days” is “ZERO”?
PT is computed not on worked days, but on Location / State
and the Gross Monthly Earnings of the Employee.
And this PT deduction depends on different slabs as per the
different States.
Even if the Employee has been absent for the whole of the
month but has any earning like Bonus or Incentives that exceed the PT cut-off
amount, then PT should be mandatorily deducted.
